S. Jakarta Has 44 e-Warong Units

Currently, South Jakarta Government has 44 electronic Warung Organisasi Gotong Royong (e-Warong).

Those 44 e-Warong units are located in 10 South Jakarta sub-districts.

South Jakarta Social Sub-dept. Head, Mursidin assessed, current number of e-Warong is still not enough to distribute Non-Cash Food Aid (BNPT), especially in South Jakarta with total 39,776 BNPT recipient families.

"Now, South Jakarta has 44 e-Warong units. I think it should be added," he mentioned at South Jakarta Office, Thursday (2/22).

He explained, e-Warong is one of Social Ministry programs. There are two commodities, rice and egg, in each e-Warong locations.

"Each e-Warong serves 250-400 BPNT families. Commodities can be obtained after the 25th in each month," he informed.

According to him, each BNPT recipient will get Rp 110 thousand per month. That amount of money can be exchanged with five kilograms of rice and two trays of egg.

"Each tray contains 10 eggs," he added.
